Upright Music is the leading independent sync music agency in the Nordics, specialized in providing music for all kinds of audiovisual productions and film produced within the Nordics, the Baltics and Poland. We are based in Copenhagen and have an office in Warsaw as well.
The job
The primary responsibility will be to initiate and establish new client relations as well as develop and strengthen existing relations within the Finnish TV, advertising, digital, documentary and film industry while operating from our Copenhagen office.
In collaboration with our highly skilled Licensing Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing new business activities, re-activating former connections, as well as maintaining existing clients. Your tasks will include everything from identifying potential clients to supporting the sales process, where your proactive approach and outgoing attitude combined with excellent organizational skills will be key.
Primary tasks
- New business – research, initiate, and establish new client relations through client pitches, meetings, presentations etc. (frequent travelling to Finland is expected)
- Market research – segmentation of the market and identifying business opportunities
- Client relations – develop and strengthen strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Events – Participate in client related activities and events, award shows, film premieres, industry parties etc.
- Supporting Licensing team – Ensuring great service to our clients
- Ad hoc – various administrative tasks related to sales, promotion, maintenance of CRM system etc.

As a Content Writer, you will:
- Translate existing recipes from English to Finnish by using common culinary phrases and vocabulary in your native language
- Translate various data from English to Finnish
- Proofread existing recipes and other texts in Finnish
- Assist with updating and maintaining the food database for the Finnish market
- Assist with developing nutritious and tasty recipes for the Finnish market
- Help the Nutritional Content Team create the best meal plans and guidelines for a wide range of dietary preferences and needs
We expect that you:
- Have a great interest in health, nutrition, and fitness
- Are a native speaker from Finland and possibly fluent in English
- Have experience in translating texts to Finnish
- Are experienced in the kitchen and familiar with the culinary phrases used in recipes in your native language
- Have been living in Finland for many years and thereby know what ingredients are available in the Finnish supermarkets and used in Finnish cuisine
- Have a good work ethic and an enthusiastic approach
- Have excellent English skills, both in writing and speaking (required)
- Are studying or have a university degree in languages (Finnish) or nutrition(e.g. clinical dietetics, human nutrition, integrated food studies, food innovation and health)
